Contact Support
When you're really stuck, sometimes you need
a connection to the source. That's why, in addition to our Frequently Asked
Questions list and the Microsoft™
Windows™ 98 Support Web site,
we offer options for you to contact a Microsoft Windows support
engineer.
Standard
No-Charge Support
When you buy
Windows 98 from a retail store, you get 90 days of free support (via
toll lines). The 90 days begins when you first contact a
Microsoft Windows support engineer. You can also contact Microsoft
Windows Support through the Web or via standard phone support.
- Submit a problem on the Web using the Web Response tool. (Note: Microsoft is rolling out a new Online ID
registration for access to its support sites, so you may be
prompted to fill out a short form to access these areas. This
service is free.)
